Alaska dog sledding at Mendenhal glacier. The opening shot is of a small avalanche. The huskies were eager to go and we got to hold husky puppies at the camp. The helicopter ride alone was incredible as we flew through openings in the mountain ranges that, as far as the eye could see to the left, right and straight ahead seemed to go on forever row after row. The glacier was like a snow and ice river, smooth extending we were told 17 miles inland.
Paradise found. The Maldives are exquisite specks of sugar white sand, with palms and banyan trees, surrounded by multi hued crystal clear lagoons and a necklace of coral reef, with excellent SCUBA and snorkeling opportunities. There are island with ultra luxurious accommodations, as well as two, three, and four star accommodations. There are approximately 70 resorts to choose from, I have personally visited three and have gathered information on many. Make your next trip to Paradise in the Maldives and book with someone with experience. I took this video with a Canon SD700is digital camera.
